Natural rhythms of periodic temporal attention

In addition to sustained attention, temporal attention is also governed by a specific sampling rate.
In this work, we show with behavior and modeling that humans have a surprisingly limited capacity to flexibly adapt and adjust to the periodic temporal regularities of a scene, either visual or auditory.
